Kestrel Embedded GNSS/INS EGI

Overview
Honeywell’s Kestrel Embedded GNSS/INS (EGI) navigation system is a compact, lightweight and cost-effective solution designed to deliver reliable position, velocity and attitude information in contested and GNSS-denied environments. Built for both crewed and uncrewed platforms, including Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) and loitering munitions, Kestrel enables continuous, self-contained navigation without dependence on external signals. The system combines multi-constellation GNSS inputs with advanced inertial sensing to maintain accurate performance even in the presence of jamming and spoofing threats. With features such as anti-jam and anti-spoofing capability, gyrocompassing, and support for M-code, Kestrel enhances mission reliability while meeting stringent size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) requirements. Designed for flexible integration across modern military platforms, Kestrel provides critical navigation outputs including attitude, heading, position, velocity and timing data. Its ability to operate independently of GNSS and adapt to alternative navigation methods makes it an ideal solution for next-generation aerospace applications where resilience and performance are essential.
