Overview
Our CD-820 Control Display Unit (CDU) integrated with the FMZ-2000 for the FMZ-2000/2010 Flight Management System (FMS) and Primus 1000/2000 Flight Guidance Systems. CD-820 featured a 5.6 diagonal color active matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD), which enabled it to overcome inherent view angle limitations and introduce wide view angle AMLCD compensation films and cone steering technology.
The CD-820 design offered reduced weight, volume and power consumption while increasing reliability and lowering the cost of ownership.
Honeywell no longer sells or supports the CD-820 Control Display Unit. Our 4th generation CD-830 is our newest high resolution Control Display Unit that offers full touch screen functionality with enhanced visibility for the FMZ-2000 Flight Management System (FMS).
