More FMS Guided Visuals – a Charting Update

As we add new FMS Guided Visuals, we’re pleased to announce that soon RNAV H charts will be integrated into the INDS chart database. That means operators using eCharts will be able to see RNAV H procedures on their Multi Function Display (MFD) along with published instrument procedures. We’re currently in the final testing phase and anticipate a mid-year implementation.  

(Note: At initial deployment, RNAV H eCharts won’t automatically link with FMS procedure loading. Operators will need to select them manually for display.)

Chart Briefing Sheet Changes

To support this rollout, RNAV H charts are being reformatted from two pages down to one. Many of the items on the briefing sheet (second page) were redundant with the chart on the first page. The remaining notes will be moved to the Notes and Planview sections of the chart.
